The present invention discloses a medicine for treating gout and a method for manufacturing the same. The medicine for treating gout contains: 5 to 15 parts by weight of Semen plantaginis； 10 to 15 parts by weight of Acorus gramineus； 13 to 20 parts by weight of Elephantopus scaber； 12 to 28 parts by weight of Angelica sinensis； and 5 to 12 parts by weight of Herba pyrolae.
