A biocidal composition for controlling invasive species in natural ecosystems and those altered by humans, which acts as an insecticide, acaricide, molluscicide, algicide, fungicide, arthropod repellent, chitin synthesis inhibitor and/or insect juvenile hormone regulator, comprising: at least one biocide, being an organic or inorganic synthetic biocide or a plant- or mineral-derived natural biocide, in a percentage of between 0.1 % and 75 %； and water in a percentage of between 10% and 70 %； coated by polymer- or mineral-based binders, which surround them in microcapsule form, wherein said polymer is comprised in the composition in a percentage of between 1 % and 50 % (percentages are by weight of the total weight of the composition)； and fillers between 0.01 % and 40 % of the total weight of the composition. The invention likewise encompasses covering products that can be said biocidal compositions depending on their composition.
