A method for preparing Sikhye(a sweet drink made from fermented rice) using a Sikhye liquid and a special food ingredient is provided to improve the taste of Sikhye by mixing grains of boiled rice and malt water and adding a special food ingredient to the mixture. A method for preparing Sikhye(a sweet drink made from fermented rice) comprises the following steps of: mixing grains of boiled rice and malt water in order to prepare a fermented rice liquid; mixing the prepared fermented rice liquid and a special food ingredient; and boiling the mixture. The special food ingredient is selected from the group consisting of ginseng, pumpkin, Rubi Fructus, etc. The special food ingredient is not inputted in the early stage of the preparation method. The special food ingredient is mixed with the fermented rice liquid to be soaked.
