PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which is hardly deviated in use with respect to underwear and, at the same time, has an inexpensive function to be sanitarily handled in disposal.
SOLUTION: The absorbent article includes as a pad body 12 an absorbent body 14 for absorbing liquid, which is arranged on one surface and a liquid non-permeable back sheet 16 which is arranged on the rear surface of the absorbent body 14. The front surface of the absorbent body 14 is covered by a liquid permeable top sheet 18. and a cover sheet 20 made of a nonwoven fabric is arranged on the rear surface of the back sheet 16. Totally four retaining tapes 24 are allowed to adhere onto the cover sheet 20.
