PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant cultivation device capable of improving utilization efficiency of light at low cost.SOLUTION: A plant cultivation device 1 comprises: a cultivation vessel 4 which has a cultivation surface 7 on a boundary with plants 5 to be cultivated, holds the plants 5 to be cultivated and feeds at least moisture to the plants a light source (a part of light source part 2) which emits light a scanning part (a part of light source part 2) which allows light emitted from the light source toward at least one of the plants to be cultivated or the cultivation surface of the cultivation vessel a light receiving part 3 which receives light reflected from at least one of the plants 5 to be cultivated or the cultivation surface 7 of the cultivation vessel 4 and a control part which changes light volume of light source on the basis of a light receiving state of the light receiving part 3.
