PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient lighting cultivation device which does not hinder irradiation of natural sunlight, makes leaves fully exhibit and enhance photosynthetic ability at an upper part and a lower part of a plant to be cultivated, and improves productivity and quality.SOLUTION: Lighting fixtures for plant cultivation 4 and 5, which respectively consist of LED elements 6 and 7 which are connected in series mechanically/electrically, are disposed for an upper portion corresponding to an extending/growing part, a flower part and a fruiting part of a plant to be cultivated 1 and a lower portion corresponding to a stem part or a foot part of the plant to be cultivated 1, and the lighting fixtures are configured to irradiate the plant to be cultivated with light from above and below. Further, light irradiation illuminance from the lighting fixture for plant cultivation 4 disposed at an upper portion of the plant to be cultivated is made larger than light irradiation illuminance of the lighting fixture for plant cultivation 5 at the lower portion.
