The present invention relates to an apparatus for controlling a radiation range of a medical diathermy device, which controls a radiation range of microwaves in emitting microwaves to treat a lesion to allow treatment to be focused on a lesion and displays a radiation range of microwaves as a light to allow a user to check the range with the naked eye, thereby improving safety. The apparatus of the present invention comprises: a magnetron having a radiation head for emitting microwaves, wherein the radiation head is fixed on the upper center of a metal housing with the upper central part opened to be in a lower direction； a radiation range control unit disposed inside the housing to adjust a size of a through-hole through which microwaves emitted from the magnetron penetrate to control a radiation range of microwaves； and a radiation range displaying unit disposed inside the housing to display a radiation range in a form of a light on a lesion in order to allow a user to check a radiation range of microwaves emitted from the magnetron with the naked eye.본 발명은 초단파를 방사하여 병변을 치료할 때 초단파의 방사범위를 조절할 수 있도록 하여 병변 부위에 집중적인 치료가 가능토록 함은 물론 초단파의 방사범위가 불빛으로 표시되도록 하여 육안으로 확인할 수 있도록 함으로써 안전성을 향상시킬 수 있도록 한 의료용 투열치료기의 방사범위 조절장치에 관한 것이다.이러한 본 발명은 상부 중앙부가 개방된 금속재 하우징의 상부 중앙에 방사헤드가 하방향을 향하도록 고정되어 전원이 인가되면 방사헤드를 통해 초단파를 방사하는 마그네트론； 하우징의 내부에 위치되며, 마그네트론으로부터 방사된 초단파가 통과되는 초단파 통과공의 크기를 조절하여 초단파의 방사 범위를 조절하는 방사범위 조절유닛； 및 하우징의 내부에 위치되며, 마그네트론으로부터 방사된 초단파의 방사 범위를 육안으로 확인할 수 있도록 환부에 빛으로 표시하는 방사범위 표시유닛으로 구성된 것이다.
