To provide a rice transplanter capable of performing the transplanting of seedlings smoothly by a seedling transplanting body and by peeling mud attached to the seedling transplanting body after transplanting the seedling.
SOLUTION: This rice transplanter is provided by moving the seedling-transplanting device 4 having a seedling-transplanting body 4a consisting of freely opening and closing Bill bodies 4a1, 4a2 vertically ON a prescribed operation trace by the pair of lower ends installed for transplanting the seedlings ON a field at the lower direction of a seedling-supplying device 40, inserting a scraper piece 70b consisting of a planer elastic body attached to the tip end of a supporting member 70a extending in horizontal direction in a state of facing in perpendicular direction, into the seedling transplanting body 4a in a state of opening the lower end part of the pair of the Bill bodies and turning the above in horizontal direction by the deformation of the end part of the scraper piece 70b caused by making a contact with the inside wall surface of the pair of bill-bodies closed ON elevating the seedling transplanting body 4a and at the same time removing the mud at the inside wall surface.
