PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a greening device securing water retainability of artificial soil, and improving handling properties when transporting and changing parts.SOLUTION: The greening device is such that a holding body 8 attachable and detachable to and from a frame body 3 includes a pair of horizontal wall parts 10 and 11 each facing from the inside of a frame inner peripheral surface 6, a pair of horizontal frame materials 5 forming the frame inner peripheral surface 6 and opposed to each other, in an attached condition to the frame body 3, and a bottom wall part 12 connected between end parts on object surfaces 2 in the horizontal wall parts 10 and 11, and covering the opening or cross sectional opening of the frame inner peripheral surface 6 in the attached condition.
