PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of greening with moss comprising forming greening surfaces looking like being dressed with moss at various outdoor places with feeling like that by ordinarily painting, and contributing to reduction in carbon dioxide and energy saving while being free from maintenance for a long period and to provide a moss-greening dressed lumber.
SOLUTION: The method of greening with moss comprises: applying on to a base material first with a culture media composition containing (a) at least one kind selected from diatom earth, aluminosilicate, silicate and aluminum oxide, (b) fine particle supporting 2-10 wt.% of silver and/or copper, (c) at least one kind selected from groups of quaternary ammonium salt, lithium silicate, synthetic emulsion, aqueous synthetic resin and synthetic rubber emulsion, and (d) water and then with moss-containing composition containing (e) moss powdered or cut into a length of &le10 mm, (f) at least one kind of glue, casein, synthetic resin emulsion, aqueous synthetic resin, synthetic rubber emulsion and moss, and (d) water.
