The present invention provides a pharmacological compound comprising an effector moiety conjugated with a binding moiety that directs the effector moiety to a biological target of interest. Similarly, the present invention provides compositions, kits and methods (eg, treatment, diagnosis and imaging) comprising the compounds. These compounds can be described as protein-interactive binding moiety-drug conjugate (SDC-TRAP) compounds comprising a protein-interactive binding moiety and an effector moiety. For example, in certain embodiments directed to treating cancer, SDC-TRAP can include an Hsp90 inhibitor conjugated to a cytotoxic agent as an effector moiety.
