PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front surface sheet having a more excellent fitting property than conventional technologies for absorbent articles, and an absorbent article.
SOLUTION: The front surface sheet 1 is made of one nonwoven sheet 10. The nonwoven sheet 10 has a sheet-layered area 3 at the center in which the sheet is turned back in multiple layers with the turned-back parts layered on the skin contact face 11 of the nonwoven sheet 10. A plurality of sheet joint parts 4, to joint sheet layers forming the sheet-layered area 3, are formed in the sheet-layered area 3. A part of the sheet joint parts 4 forms a first recess 5 whose planar shape is circular, and the other part of the sheet joint parts 4 forms a second recess 6 whose planar shape is linear extending in the longitudinal direction L of the nonwoven sheet 10.
