The hydrolyzable absorbent article, which comprises a front surface sheet, a back surface sheet and an absorbent sheet that is positioned between the front surface sheet and the back surface sheet, is characterized in that the front surface sheet is formed of a spun lace non-woven fabric, the absorbent sheet is formed of an airlaid non-woven fabric containing a water-soluble binder, the front surface sheet is adhered to the absorbent sheet and thus integrated therewith, and the integrated front surface sheet and absorbent sheet have a plurality of openings.
