PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent twisting of a side nonwoven fabric and reversion from an absorber in an absorptive article formed with a large number of openings and/or slits in the side nonwoven fabric.
SOLUTION: The side nonwoven fabric 6 is formed to have a laminated sheet part 10 folded inward to the liquid permeable surface sheet 3 side at an inside edge portion, to interpose an absorptive material inside the laminated sheet 10 and to form a large number of openings 11 in a region of the side nonwoven fabric 6 located on the upper face of the absorptive material. The liquid permeable surface sheet 3 is a hydrophilic nonoven fabric and folded outward at both side edges respectively, and each of the outward folded extended sheet portions is inserted in the laminated sheet 10 to form the absorptive material.
