The invention presents a removable pawl (19) for use with a sprayer with trigger-actuated pump (10), sprayer has a pump body (13) including a pump cylinder (18), a pump piston reciprocal inside such cylinder (18) to define with this a variable volume pumping chamber, a trigger lever (16) pivotally mounted on such pump body (13), and having tabs (17) which can be coupled with that piston for reciprocity thereof by trigger manual action. Such pawl achieves the object of making possible to make a children-resistant sprayer by a body with a body portion (21) extending between an inferior side (20) of such lever (16), and an opposing portion of such pump body (13) in outstanding coupling with this to prevent trigger action, such body has a spring-impelled clamp (24) integral with such body portion (21), and in contact with such tab (17) to removably secure such pawl to sprayer (10).
