The present invention relates to a device for peeling bark of a root crop such as a burdock, a bellflower, and codonopsis lanceolata and, specifically, to a washing and peeling device for a bellflower, capable of easily peeling the bark of the root crop having many fine roots, such as, the bellflower. According to the present invention, the washing and peeling device for a bellflower includes a rotation peeling knife having multiple curved groove blade units scratching and peeling the outer circumference of the bellflower. The washing and peeling device for a bellflower includes: a fine root processing unit cutting the fine roots spreading out from a main root； a peeling unit comprising a pair of the rotation peeling knives installed to face each other and including the multiple peeling knives having the curved groove blade unit to peel the bellflower in which the fine roots are removed by the fine root processing unit； and a washing unit having multiple washing nozzles selectively spraying washing water during a peeling process in the peeling unit. The fine root processing unit comprises: a rotator for cutting fine roots formed in a doughnut shape； multiple fine root cutting blades formed on the inner circumference of the rotor for cutting fine roots； and a power supply device for cutting fine roots, supplying power to the rotor for rotating and cutting the fine roots.
