The present invention relates to ethynyl derivatives of formula I wherein X is N or CH； G is N or CH； with the proviso that maximum one of X or G can be nitrogen； R<；sup>；1<；/sup>； is phenyl or pyridyl, which are optionally substituted by halogen, lower alkyl or lower alkoxy； R<；sup>；2 <；/sup>； is hydrogen, lower alkyl or may form together with R <；sup>；4<；/sup>； a C3-C6-cycloalkyl； R<；sup>；3<；/sup>；/R<；sup>；3'<；/sup>；/R<；sup>；4<；/sup>；/R<；sup>；4'<；/sup>； are independently from each other hydrogen, lower alkyl or CF3； or to a pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salt, to a racemic mixture, or to its corresponding enantiomer and/or optical isomer and/or stereoisomer thereof. It has now surprisingly been found that the compounds of general formula I are positive allosteric modulators (PAM) of the metabotropic glutamate receptor subtype 5 (mGluR5).La presente invención se refiere a derivados de etinilo de la fórmula I en donde X es N o CH； G es N o CH； con la condición de que como máximo uno de X y G pueda ser nitrógeno； R1 es fenilo o piridilo, que están opcionalmente sustituidos por halógeno, alquilo inferior o alcoxi inferior； R2 es hidrógeno, alquilo inferior o junto con R4 puede formar un cicloalquilo C3-C6 R3/R3'/R4/R4' son independientemente uno de otro hidrógeno, alquilo inferior o CF3 o a una sal de adición de ácido farmacéuticamente aceptable, a una mezcla racémica, o a sus enantiómeros y/o isómeros ópticos y/o estereoisómeros correspondientes. Ahora se ha encontrado de modo sorprendente que los compuestos de la fórmula general I son moduladores alostéricos positivos (PAM) del receptor del glutamato metabotrópico del subtipo 5 (mGluR5).
