A carbon shafted reaming device, wherein the reaming device comprises a rod element(10), an interface element (20, 30) and a connecting agent (40), wherein the rodelement (10) comprises a first connecting portion (11) having a carbon fibrereinforced structure, wherein the interface element (20, 30) comprises a secondconnecting portion (21, 31), wherein the first connecting portion (11) and thesecond connecting portion (21, 31) are concentrically arranged to each other,and wherein the connecting agent (40) is interposed between the first connectingportion (11) and the second connecting portion (21, 31). Either of the rod elementand the interface element may be coupled to a reaming tool or a drive.
