PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convert the fine pressing amount of a cover plate member to a magnified mechanical moving amount and to control a dental treatment instrument corresponding to the magnified change amount, in a dental treatment instrument controller for controlling the dental treatment instrument by pressing the cover plate member disposed on the base of a dental treatment chair.
SOLUTION: The dental treatment instrument controller has the cover plate member 11 which is disposed on the base 10 of the dental treatment chair and is to be pressed by a foot operation, and controls the drive of the dental treatment instrument by pressing the cover plate member 11. A piston 32 and a rack 33 are integrally moved forward and backward corresponding to the pressing amount of the cover plate member 11, the resistance of a volume 35 is changed by a gear 34 which is engaged with the rack 33 and rotated, and the drive of the dental treatment instrument is controlled by the resistance change. Since the fine pressing amount of the cover member 11 is magnified to the moving amount of the piston, a control operation is facilitated.
