The present invention provides an external-use composition including ascorbic acid or the like. More preferably, the present invention provides an external-use composition including ascorbic acid or the like the deposition of which is suppressed under a low-temperature storage condition. This external-use composition contains the following components: (A) at least one selected from the group consisting of ascorbic acid, derivatives thereof, and salts thereof； (B) an edetic acid salt； (C) a glycyrrhizin acid salt； (D) a heparin-like substance； and (E) water.本發明提供一種含有抗壞血酸類的外用組成物。更佳為提供一種在低溫保管條件下的析出得到抑制的含有抗壞血酸類的外用組成物。調配下述成分而製成外用組成物：（A）選自由抗壞血酸、其衍生物及該些的鹽所組成的群組中的至少一種、（B）依地酸鹽、（C）甘草酸鹽、（D）肝素類似物質、以及（E）水。
