PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair for nursing care including means for effectively preventing or suppressing a failure derived from forgetfulness of a carer to release parking tackle brakes.SOLUTION: Lock state display mechanisms 11 are arranged at positions so as to be visually recognized by a carer who operates a wheelchair 1 for nursing care by pushing the wheelchair while gripping hand grips 5. Each lock state display mechanism includes a display member 10 arranged to be movable between a first position PP indicating that a parking tackle brake 9 is in a lock release state and a second position SP indicating that a parking tackle brake is in a lock state. A wheelchair for nursing care also includes transmission mechanisms 12 each of which transmits an operation displacement of the parking tackle brake with respect to a side lever 8 while converting the displacement into a motion displacement between the first position and the second position of the display member. A carer can recognize display states of the lock state display mechanisms in a visual field while standing behind the wheelchair without confirming positions of the side levers from a front side of the wheelchair. Thus, forgetfulness about a lock release that occurs in intending to move the wheelchair can be prevented or suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10COPYRIGHT: (C)2020,JPO&INPIT【課題】介助者が、駐車用タックルブレーキの解除失念に由来した不具合を効果的に防止ないし抑制できる手段を備えた介助用車椅子を提供する。【解決手段】手押しグリップ５を握りつつ後ろから押して介助用車椅子１を操作する介助者から視認可能な位置に、駐車用タックルブレーキ９がロック解除状態であることを示す第一位置ＰＰとロック状態であることを示す第二位置ＳＰとの間で移動可能に設けられた表示部材１０を含むロック状態表示機構１１を設ける。そして、駐車用タックルブレーキのサイドレバー８に対する操作変位を、表示部材の第一位置と第二位置との間での移動変位に変換しつつ伝達する伝達機構１２を設ける。介助者は、車椅子の前方からサイドレバーの位置を確認せずとも、車椅子の後方に立った状態でロック状態表示機構の表示状態を視界にとらえられ、車椅子を動かそうとする際に生ずるロック解除の失念を防止ないし抑制することができる。【選択図】図１０
