The present utility model relates to processes of producing sweetened seaweed based product to a process of producing seaweed based soft milky candy comprising the steps of: washing fresh seaweed, blanching, blending, mixing with condensed milk and egg yolk, cooking, shaping into balls and packaging. The present process produces seaweed based soft milky candy with softer texture, more healthy and nutritious than plain yema. This is a healthy version of sweetened seaweed based yema available as a dessert or snack item for school children and health conscious individuals. The product is safe to consume for three days when stored at room temperature without changes in its sensory quality.
