PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel fibroblast activator having the effect of activating fibroblasts in the dermal layer, and a composition capable of activating fibroblasts in the dermal layer, promoting the generation of interstitial components (collagen fiber (collagen), elastic fiber (elastin, fibrillin), mucopolysaccharide (hyaluronic acid) etc.) within the layer and suppressing the depletion thereof, and by restoring/improving the tensile strength of collagen fibers or elastic fibers, wrinkling of the dermis, sagging skin, and/or reduction in skin tone arising due to aging or UV radiation can be prevented or improved.SOLUTION: Ceramides are used as the active ingredients.
