PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer supporting apparatus causing no unexpected stopping of the transfer movement of a care receiver.SOLUTION: This transfer supporting apparatus 100 includes: a support base 12 a strut 13 with one end tiltably attached to the support base 12 a body holder 14 provided at the other end of the strut 13 to hold the upper half of the care receiver body a first driving part for tilting the strut 13 a sensing part 17 provided at the lower part of the body holder 14 to sense a contact with the care receiver and a control part for controlling the first driving part.
