PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a root cutting harvester capable of suppressing complicated configuration of a transport mechanism. SOLUTION: A root cutting harvester 11 has a planting panel 18 for holding a nursery piece 17 on which a plant 16 is grown by locating a portion to be a harvested product 21 on the upper surface side of the nursery piece, and a cutting blade in a transport path 19. When passing through the cutting position CP provided with 15 from the upstream side to the downstream side, the part to be harvested and the root 22 of the plant grown on the nursery piece are cut by the cutting blade, and the planting is carried out. The transport mechanism 20 capable of transporting the panel from the upstream side to the cutting position of the transport path includes a mounting surface forming member 25 having a mounting surface 26 on which the planting panel can be mounted, and the mounting surface forming member is mounted.
