PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particle treatment system which separates/removes a bulky material mixed in a treatment object and efficiently removes obstructive substances including water soluble components and heavy metals from particles while the amount of washing water is reduced by simplifying equipment. SOLUTION: A wet sorting means 2 which sorts the treatment object into the bulky material and the particles while washing it and classifies the particles into particulates and middle-sized particles having a particle size larger than that of the particulates are provided in the system. The wet sorting means sorts the bulky material into a bulky material having a larger specific gravity and a bulky material having a smaller specific gravity by a difference in specific gravity and classifies the particles into the particulates and the middle-sized particles having a larger particle size by a difference in sedimentation speed. A first washing means 4 for rewashing the particulates, a second washing means 6 for rewashing the middle-sized particles, a first circulation path 8 for returning washing drainage discharged from the first rewashing means to the wet sorting means, and a second circulation path 9 for returning washing drainage discharged from the second rewashing means to the second rewashing means are provided.
