A growth house (2) comprising a housing (4) defining an inner space is disclosed. The inner space (18) is provided with a storage structure (20) comprising several vertically displaced storage levels (L1, L2, L3, L10) each being configured to receive one or more tray members (22) with one or more plants (24). The housing (4) comprises an opening (12) and is opaque and configured to prevent sunlight from entering the inner space (18). The growth house (2) comprises a moveably arranged transportation unit (14) configured to horizontally and vertically displace on or more tray members (22) and hereby transport the one or more tray members (22) between a first position (P1) outside the housing (4) and a second position (P2) on a storage structure (20) inside the housing (4), wherein a plurality of light sources (32, 32') are arranged to emit light (34) towards the plants (24).
