PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating device capable of preventing a spray pattern of a spray liquid sprayed from a spray nozzle from being disturbed by an air flow of a processing gas.SOLUTION: A spray nozzle unit 5 is rotatably movable between a first position P1' and a second position P2'. The first position is a position of the spray nozzle unit when the spray nozzle unit is inserted/drawn between the inside and the outside of a rotary drum 1 through a front end opening 1e of the rotary drum and where the spray nozzle unit is positioned on a side of an inner diameter than the diameter of the front end opening of the rotary drum. The second position is a position of the spray nozzle unit when a granular material is processed and where a spray nozzle 5a is positioned at least on a side of an outer diameter than the diameter of the front end opening of the rotating drum and frontward in a rotation direction to a vertical plane V including an axis line of the rotary drum.
