PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a toxic substance removing material containing an antibody-supported carrier, with few losses of the activity of an antibody in a producing process. SOLUTION: The method for producing the toxic substance removing material containing the antibody-supported carrier comprises the steps of: sticking an antibody-containing liquid to the carrier comprising a fiber; adjusting the water content of the carrier to≤300%; and drying the water content-adjusted carrier in an atmosphere of≤70°C so that the dried carrier has≤1% water content.
