PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for determining a stress on bred rats easily and efficiently, and a material for a determination.SOLUTION: A method for determining a stress on mice based on a pH change in feces of bred rats is provided. A method for determining a stress on bred rats which uses a coloring reagent is provided. A material for a determination of a stress on bred rats which includes the coloring reagent is provided. A method for determining a stress on bred rats which uses the material for a determination of a stress on bred rats and a disposable cage equipped with the material for a determination of a stress is provided.
