PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical cap that allows a transfusion needle to be inserted with smaller force while securing high sealability, and can prevent an elastic plug body from being displaced in inserting the transfusion needle.SOLUTION: A medical cap 1A includes an elastic plug body 40, an outer frame body 10, and a resin fixing part 50 for fixing the elastic plug body 40 to the outer frame body 10 by being secured to both the elastic plug body 40 and the outer frame body 10. The elastic plug body 40 includes a first principal surface, a second principal surface, and a peripheral surface 40c while the outer frame body 10 includes a top plate part facing the first principal surface, and a side wall part 22 facing the peripheral surface 40c. A protruding part 22a that comes into contact with the peripheral surface 40c of the elastic plug body 40 is provided on an inside surface of the side wall part 22.
