PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical cap excellent in adhesion of an elastic plug body with an outer frame body which holds a peripheral edge of the elastic plug body with its inner wall, preventing positional shift of the elastic plug body and the outer frame body by sticking a needle, and excellent in securing sealing properties, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same.
SOLUTION: The medical cap has the elastic plug body and the outer frame body equipped with an under frame for holding the peripheral edge of the elastic plug body from a liquid-contact-surface side with its inner wall and an upper frame for holding the elastic plug body from a needle-sticking surface side with its inner wall. The elastic plug body is fused to the upper frame on the contact surface with the upper frame thereof and is not fused to the under frame on the contact surface with the under frame thereof.
