The aforementioned collection member (2) includes a first collection portion (8) including the outlet (70) which is connected to the inlet of the collection container (7) and a second collection portion (11) including the opening (13), which second portion is hinged to the first portion (8) so that it can move from a rest position to a collection position in which the opening (13) is positioned at the animals anal area and in which the opening is positioned above the outlet so that the manure can fall into the container under the influence of gravity.
