This management process for the advancement of biosecurity measures1 makes useofnanotechnology-based products to detect, disinfect, and subsequentlyfacilitate prevention of thepathogenic microorganism recolonization responsible for the incidence ofpreventable communicablediseases (PCDs) and further reduces the development of multi-drug resistantstrains. This process is not limited to immunological and disease preventionapplications: due to thesecondary effects of the surface protectant used in Phase III (See:Description) - such as the enhancementof a given surface's hydrophobic, oleophobic, hydrodynamic, aerodynamic, andanti-corrosive properties-its scope can be broadened to naval, aviation, edificepreservation/restoration and agricultural industries.
