PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for industrially mass-producing a vegetable processed product, by uniformly heating and cooking vegetables without scorched parts accompanied by local heating, local insufficiency of heating, or the like.SOLUTION: The method for producing the vegetable processed product includes optionally pulverizing the vegetables, compulsorily bringing the raw material vegetables into contact with the heated surface of a heater, and flowing the vegetables, in a state of spreading to a thin film shape, having a nearly uniform thickness along the heated surface to heat and cook the vegetables.
