PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a granulated substance of kale dry powder having excellent palate feeling. SOLUTION: The granulated substance of lake dry powder is obtained by adding water or both of water and ethanol to kale dry powder, kneading the mixture, subjecting the kneaded mixture to extrusion molding, and drying the molded mixture. The granulated substance of kale dry powder is edible as it is, excellent in palate feeling such as chewiness, having pleasant taste, and promoting the activity of the brain through repeated chewing. The substance also has the following effect: preventing stomach irritation and/or gastric ulcer, improving liver function, maintaining bodily function, having a good bowel movement owing to its kale content, and eliminating odor (breath odor) because the green-colored kale dry powder contains much chlorophyll, and promoting salivation to exhibit excellent effects such as anticavity effect.
