PURPOSE: A process for the pretreatment for milling cereals is provided to improve pretreatment of cereals and wash the cereals without damage. CONSTITUTION: In the process for the pretreatment for milling cereals, multiple washing steps of cereals are performed and a humidity for milling is obtained by adding an adequate amount of water. The cereals are supplied to conditioning chambers (62, 62I, 62II, 62III, 62IV) and to the side of a pulverizer. Before conditioning, the cereals are finely pulverized by a first drying step and a second wetting step, water being added before or during the second step. The cereals are stored in a medium storage tank(40) for 1-120 minutes for wet pulverization, and then conditioned after the second step.
