A humeral prosthesis (10), for the articulation of a humerus in a scapula of a shoulder having a glenoid cavity, comprises an articulation device (15) able to be associated both with an articulation element (12) mounted on the glenoid cavity, and also at the top of said humerus by means of attachment means (20). The articulation device (15) comprises a first element (16) able to articulate with the articulation element (12) and a second element (18) associated with the attachment means (20), the first element (16) and the second element (18) being pivoted to each other around a pivoting axis (Y) to allow a free relative rotation thereof around the pivoting axis (Y).La présente invention concerne une prothèse humérale (10) permettant larticulation dun humérus dans lomoplate dune épaule présentant une cavité glénoïde. Ledit dispositif darticulation (15) comprend un premier élément (16) pouvant sarticuler avec lélément darticulation (12) et un second élément (18) associé aux moyens de fixation (20). Le premier élément (16) et le second élément (18) peuvent pivoter lun par rapport à lautre autour dun axe de pivotement (Y), ce qui permet une rotation relativement libre de ceux-ci autour dudit axe de pivotement (Y).
