A rotary scoop type water wave generator for aquaculture aeration includes a float support frame mechanism, a reduction motor and a water wave generation mechanism. The float support frame mechanism includes a lower support frame, an upper support frame and a buoyant device, in which the lower support frame studded on a pond bottom soil layer is functioned as a ground stake, the upper support frame capable of being lifted relative to the lower support frame is utilized to mount the reduction motor, and the buoyant device is installed on the upper support frame. The water wave generation mechanism includes a rotary arm and two flapping webs, in which the rotary arm is fixed on the reduction motor, and the two flapping webs are driven by the rotary arm to rotationally propelled pond water. Accordingly, with the structural design of the rotary scoop type water wave generator, a large quantitative of water flow, a large size of vortex and a large scope of wave, a dissolved oxygen uniform distribution can be rapidly promoted.
