The invention relates to a decontamination apparatus, comprising a compressor (1) for pressurised gas supply provided with pressure adjustment means and means (5) for spraying a decontamination product in the form of droplets in premises to be treated. The apparatus is characterised in that the compressor (1) directly supplies the spraying means (5) at a desired operational pressure without being provided with a buffer tank, the pressure adjustment means (11) including a controlled flow leak between the outlet (S) of the compressor (1) and the inlet (E) of the spraying means (5).
