PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect eye potential as large as possible and easily respond to eye movement detection with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A minimum of four EOG electrodes in the periphery of both eyes of a user is disposed as follows. First, two electrodes of the left eye side (152a, 152b) and two electrodes of the right eye side (151a, 151b) are disposed in the line symmetry to the line drawn in the vertical direction (e.g., the line along a user's nose ridge) from a center point of the line for connecting the center of both left and right eyes. Two electrodes (152a, 151a) of the upper side and two electrodes (152b, 151b) of the lower side from a line for connecting the center of both left and right eyes are disposed by avoiding a left predetermined range (AXL) comprising an inflection region where the detection polarity of the eye potential is changed when straddling the perpendicular passing a left eye center position (P1) to the left or right, and a right predetermined range (AXL) comprising an inflection region where the detection polarity of the eye potential is changed when straddling the perpendicular passing a right eye center position (P2) to the left or right.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2【課題】なるべく大きな眼電位を検出して、高精度な眼動検出に対応し易くする。【解決手段】ユーザの両眼周辺において、最小4個のEOG電極を次のように配置する。まず、左眼側の電極2個(152a、152b)と右眼側の電極2個(151a、151b)を、左右両眼の中心を結ぶ線の中点から垂直方向に引いた線(例えばユーザの鼻筋に沿った線)に対して線対称に配置する。左右両眼の中心を結ぶ線よりも上側の電極2個(152a、151a)および下側の電極2個(152b、151b)については、左眼中心位置(P1)を通る垂線を左右に跨ぐと眼電位の検出極性が変る変曲域を含む左所定範囲(AXL)と、右眼中心位置(P2)を通る垂線を左右に跨ぐと眼電位の検出極性が変る変曲域を含む右所定範囲(AXL)を避けて、配置する。【選択図】 図2
