The present invention relates to a method for producing a fermented plant extract to reduce methane in ruminants, and a use thereof. As an alternative to antibiotics used to reduce methane produced in ruminant stomach of ruminants, natural plants are mixed, and a Saccharomyces cerevisiae MK56 stain is inoculated to ferment a cultured extract and improve efficacy.
