The present invention relates to an apparatus for exercising the trunk of a human body which is used in rehabilitation exercises for patients, and provides an apparatus for exercising the trunk of a human body configured to allow various rehabilitation exercises, the apparatus including a main body part including a chair on which a patient can sit and an upper plate by which both arms of the patient can be supported； a height adjustment part including an actuator which is disposed in a post connecting the upper plate from a lower frame of the main body part, and configured to adjust the height of the upper plate with respect to the lower frame by a switch operation； an upper plate rotation adjusting part in which an upper body rotation exercise, such as a trunk twist, can be performed by rotating the upper plate in a left-and-right direction on a frame of the main body part； a back-and-forth position adjusting part including a back-and-forth adjustment lever by which the chair can be adjusted to be fixed to a desired position in a back-and-forth direction on the lower frame of the main body part； and a chair rotation adjusting part in which a pelvic rotation exercise can be performed by rotating a seat about a central axis of the chair and which includes a rotation adjustment lever for maintaining the seat in a rotation-stop state by fixing the seat at a desired position.
