<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bending degree detection device capable of detecting a bending degree of a linear body inserted into a tube in a body. <；P>；SOLUTION: This bending degree detection device is equipped with an optical fiber sensor 1 wherein an irregular surface 5 is formed on a part of a boundary between a core 3 and a clad 4 of an optical fiber 2, and light of a quantity corresponding to the bending degree of the optical fiber 2 leaks from the irregular surface 5； a light source part 12 bonded to one end of the optical fiber 2； a reflection film 10 provided on the other end of the optical fiber 2； and a light receiving part 13 bonded to one end of the optical fiber 2, for detecting the quantity of light emitted from the light source part 12 and reflected by the reflection film 10.
