PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tooth surface treatment material, as a pretreatment material of an adhesive used in a dentistry, which is safe for a living body because of having a polysaccharide and has thixotropy suitable for treatment of a tooth surface.SOLUTION: A tooth surface treatment material includes (A) an acidic component, (B) water, and (C) a polymer containing a polysaccharide, wherein the (A) component is in the range of 1-50 pts.wt., the (B) component is in the range of 30-95 pts.wt. and the (C) component is in the range of 0.1-30 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the total of the (A)-(C) components.
