The insert (202) has a discharging region equipped to collect waste water for discharge. Contact regions (204a, 206a) are provided for a base (306) and external- and/or inner walls (304, 302) of a silo wall plate (300), and a section of the silo wall plate rests against to the contact regions. The discharge region is cross sectionally arranged between the contact regions, where the insert is made of plastic or high-grade steel. The discharge region provides a cross sectional area in a range of 12 centimeter square to 15 centimeter square. An independent claim is also included for a method for production of a silo system.
