The method comprises: determining, by terminals completing a wireless communication pairing process, to exchange business card information via preset handshake information; and transmitting, by the terminals determining to exchange the business card information and via wireless communication, the business card information pre-stored therein. The technical solution exchanges business cards via wireless communication, thus improving efficiency of business card exchanging. In addition, the present invention exchanges electronic business cards, and thus contact information in the business card is more comprehensive and easy to update.
