The present invention provides a trachea-viewing conduit device and intubation assembly. The intubation assembly includes an endotracheal tube having a first end therefrom for insertion into the trachea of an individual during an intubation and a second end, and the trachea-viewing conduit device attached to the exterior of the endotracheal tube and having a viewing terminus secured to the endotracheal tube and positioned at a predefined distance away from the first end thereof.
