PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical examination table that prevents an examiner from coming into close physical contact with a patient, when the examiner conducts examination while holding an instrument for the medical examination comparatively for a long time.SOLUTION: The medical examination table 11 is adapted to include a bed 13 by which the patient can lie when examined, and a support 15 of the bed 13. A backrest section 23 for supporting the back of the patient is separated from the bed 13 and supported raisably at one side in the width direction of the bed 13.
