PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a time required for every calibration work.
SOLUTION: Defect pixel information R(k, m) to be updated is determined out of a plurality of pieces of defect pixel information R(k, m) in database DB and a radiation dose and an accumulation time for acquiring the defect pixel information R(k, m) are determined. Radiography is performed at the determined radiation dose and accumulation time to acquire a reference image Pref. Then, either a central region CR or a peripheral region AR is selected from the reference image Pref as a divided region DR and defect pixels Px in the divided region DR are detected. Position information of the detected defect pixels Px is stored in the database DB as the defect pixel information R(k, m).
